MARLBOROUGH —
To explain why "Life is Nutz," Kevin Brown and Bill Beers begin their story with an Ironman triathlon a couple of years back and end up discussing the comedy benefit they're bringing to Marlborough Friday. Along the way, they started an apparel company for extreme sports enthusiasts named Life is Nutz and ended up in a lawsuit with an organization named Life is Good. Last year the case was dismissed from U.S. District Court and the Nutz and Good guys came to an agreement they can't disclose. On May 14 Brown and Beers are bringing four Boston-based comics to the Best Western Royal Hotel and Trade Center in Marlborough to raise much-needed funds for Addiction Referral Center (ARC) of Marlborough. |
